On our way home we spent one night in El Paso and were able to spend some time with my mom and brother Joe and his family. Joe and his wife Sarah found out they were pregnant just weeks after Matt and I did. They were due at the beginning of July and we were due end of May. But because Addie was late and baby Joe was early, they were both born in June, just 19 days apart!
We had so much fun taking pictures of the babies! I don't know how people with twins ever get anything done! I'd be too busy taking pictures! Two babies the same size is just too cute! We decided baby Joe is more solid than Addison, but she is longer. And has bigger cheeks.
So here is the first photo shoot. In a lot of the pictures at least one of them has a blurred face because they were moving so much. We started off with Addie in the corner of the couch, but baby Joe kept falling over on her. Then we switched them and she fell over a couple times. He was not happy about the pictures and was a little fussy and Addie's looking like "What's going on man? I'll cry too if you want me to!" Because Joe was flailing his arms a little, Addie got hit in the face a couple times while she was holding him. So precious! And funny!
The next morning before we left we took pictures for about an hour. First it was Christian with both, then Alexis, then Taylor, then me, then Joe. Sarah and Matt graciously passed on the photo op and the babies were very appreciative of that. They were so totally done taking pictures and cranky!
Joe told me they had yet to get a picture of little Joe smiling, but as soon as Christian held him he started smiling like crazy! Joe loved Christian! I guess being the only boy cousins on that side of the family they are sticking together.
PS - Did you get my double entendre in the title. Two babies that are too cute! I am too smooth!

Michelle,
Oh, yes, you are 'two' clever. Great pictures and I love the look on Addie's face during the 'two' cute babies shoot.
Love your blog and miss you all lots.
Lotsa Love,
Dear Ol' Dad
Awe, they came out sooo cute! Can't wait till the next photo shoot. Maybe then we can catch them both with a smile.
Take care and we miss you!
