Friday

I finished all my house cleaning projects Friday morning. We’re not slobs and are generally clean people, but I hadn’t fully dusted, like take things off shelves dusted in awhile. We also pulled out the washer and dryer and fridge and cleaned under there, which is always kind of surprising and also disgusting. Anyways, I didn’t go through closets and cupboards, that’s a post basement carpet job, but I cleaned every room and all the floors and it looks so good and I love it. And it lasted for one day. But that’s because family came and I love that too.

Alecia and I got together Friday and walked and got Hawaii pedi’s and lunch and it was wonderful to catch up.

That night I got to see my favorite cheerleader.

The LHS teams have been so good! They won again, not by as many points, but still.

I combed through my old Facebook photos and found this.

Back when I was lugging three little girls with me to every game, I got them matching blue and white cheerleader outfits. And now she wears a real one. 💙

I spent Saturday washing sheets and helping the girls finish their rooms. They have storage bins under their beds, so we pulled them, and everything else that was shoved under, which in Delaney’s case was a lot, out and vacuumed and got their rooms all clean and sharp. Frankie has outgrown some of her old art and while I hate throwing things away, we’ll never do anything with this stuff.

Delaney had this huge stained glass art she made that we were also going to get rid of, but she changed her mind because she’s a grade A hoarder.

At 4:00, 5 of our favorite people showed up and everyone was so excited to meet sweet baby Henry! Delaney in the back was cracking me up.

So then Adi had to get in on that.

And finally just a normal one with Frankie and Henners.

That night Matt and I had a special date planned, so that timing kind of stunk. But for Christmas I got Matt tickets to see The Kings Singers down at St. Mary’s College.

We were in the very front row, so Matt grabbed a shot of them moving things around. We saw lots of friends from around the stake and it was a really fun concert. I didn’t know anything about them, but they were great!

Sunday I went to our ward with the family and Adi played the organ and I got to hug Heather C. and Sarah H. (my counselor and secretary) and Frankie got set apart as her class secretary and it was a lovely morning at church.
