I think I’m excited about our trip next week because I’ve been waking up crazy early and not getting back to sleep. I went to church with the fam and that is always so lovely. I love my calling, and also it’s so nice to go to church with my family. Both things are true.
And beautiful garage pictures, as promised! I’ve wanted matching bins *forever* and my organizational little heart was so happy to buy a few each month in preparation for this wall of holiday decor. I’ve lugged bins from the basement and from the shed for all these years and I’m so excited to have these so easily accessible.
The rest of these bins belong in the basement where we will have carpet within the month! Praise be for a fully functional home.
I chatted with Alexis and Alli and planned meals for their visit this weekend. I wrote out the girls schedule for the 2 weeks we’ll be gone, and all of our flight information. I’ve already got a freezer full of frozen meals, so I am feeling pretty prepared. We went on a family walk and then dropped the girls off and went for a full walk. Matt grilled salmon to break our fast and Adi also requested to make chicken pot pies, so that will be dinner tomorrow. We watched a movie and really rested our bodies. One of these days we’ll be productive sabbath observers again, we’ll do family history or ministering or other great Sunday activities I can’t think of right now, but for this season, we really just are loving the hurkle durkle of it all.
