Merry Christmas Eve!

The kids cafe playing continues. I love that they still play! I want to keep them little for as long as I can!

The adults went grocery shopping and used the bread cutting machine. We got some help from some friendly German shoppers and wud Americans were all just in awe. Super cool.

We finished up just as the shopping center was closing, right around 1:00. We went in search of a restaurant but everything was closed. We did find 2 adorable little villages to bring the kids back to.

Love this giant yet simple manger scene.

Since we couldn’t find any other open restaurant we settled for McDonald’s. Again. 👎🏼

We all went for a walk and I love some open road! And these maniacs.

We tried to get them to jump together.

But that didn’t quite pan out.

Then they did some of this, wrastling around standing. So adorable. 🙄

They take forever to pose. Oh max.

So then we decided to show them how it works. Oh Adi.

See how easy it is when everyone cooperates?

Then we demonstrated the perfect group jump. Winding up…

Nailed it.

That is the look of satisfaction from 3 jumpers knowing they did a job well done.

We had showers all around, and then sandy treated us to the Feast of Seven Fishes. We started with shrimp.

Next we enjoyed some baked cod and blackfish. I mean, most of us did.

We had tuna casserole.

Then smoked trout. Our selection was limited by what was available at the one store we made it too, and also what was available in our kitchen. But we did good!

Swedish fish for a pallet cleanse.

And finished it off with salmon. It was all delicious but Sandy says I need to come to New York for a real 7 Fishes. Can’t wait!

Amy brought everyone Christmas Jammie’s.

She did a good job! Everyone’s fit and just look how how adorable we all are!

We played games, put kids to bed, played some more games, Santa came, and now we’re ready for our German Christmas.
