Space Mountain had a 10 minute wait, so we headed towards Tomorrowland, but first picked up our Fruit and Nutella Waffle that I’d pre-ordered. and then there was no line for the Cheeseburger Spring Rolls we wanted to try, so we grabbed one of those too. That turned out to be a bad move. We had too much food and we couldn’t ride anything with all that food. And also, by the time we got there, Space Mountain’s wait had gone up to 30 minutes, and then closed down for several hours.
We finally ate enough of our food to get in the 15 minute line for Buzz Lightyear (I put the spring rolls in our backpack). By 11:30 ride #7 was through and Frankie had smoked me with her high score. I used to be good at that stuff.
I watched wait times and regrouped during ride #8 - Carousel of Progress, which Frankie absolutely loved.
We got on at 11:37 and finished just before noon. It was a nice little break from our running.
There was never much of a wait on the Speedway, which will always be Autopia to me.
12:15 and finished with ride #9.
The Astro Orbiter had been showing 40 minute waits all day, but had gone down to 15 minutes, so we hopped on. 12:30. And not my favorite ride.
The people mover had been broken down for awhile, but finally came back up. 12:45 and ride #11.
Space Mountain was still down, so we got to see the roller coaster with the lights on which was super cool.
The next stop on our food tour was a Cheshire Cat Tail (turned out to be Frankie’s fav) and then we headed to Dumbo at 1:05.
Oh, we’re halfway there!
Then we waited 20 minutes for the Barnstormer, which was longer than I would have wanted to wait, but, you know. 1:30.
Frankie was so excited for It’s a Small World. She’s a funny kid. We hopped on this classic just before 2:00. That is the longest ride when you’re in a hurry! Which I was because I needed a restroom and also I was feeling spazzy cause we only had 4 hours left.
We walked onto Prince Charming’s Carousel at 2:25. Then our carousel lady psyched us all out by stopping, then restarting the ride. It was odd.
The food item I was most excited about was LeFou’s Brew - they had me at marshmallow syrup. Unfortunately I was big disappointed. I couldn’t detect any essence of marshmallow, it just tasted like frozen apple cider to me. Thankfully we also grabbed a giant cinnamon roll from Gaston’s Tavern too. Then we waited way longer than I’d have liked for Little Mermaid. This shot was at 2:53.
And we finally rode at 3:15. Pretty sure the ride broke down for a few. We made another nice friend in that line too.
Space Mountain finally reopened, so we busted the move over there and waited 40 minutes. That, and Jingle Cruise were our longest waits of the day. We both loved Space Mountain! I wish we could have ridden twice, but it was busted for so long that there were long lines the whole rest of the day. 4:00.
Our long Space Mountain line gave us time to reformulate. Frankie decided that instead of trying to ride every ride, since we had some long ones left, we’d go back and do some of our favorites. Someday I’d like to do all the rides though. We ended up missing Winnie the Pooh, Tom Sawyers Raft, the Riverboat, Tea Cups (we were both iffy on this one, but would have ridden if we could have checked them all off), and Main Street Vehicles. We got to ride 3 of our favorites twice, so it all worked out. And even though I was disappointed with the early closure, it was so fun and such a unique experience to be there with just Frankie. One on one time is always a blessing!
But back to our ride progress! We made it to the Magic Carpets of Aladdin by 4:15.
We had so much fun, we laughed and laughed all day.
After that we did Thunder and Splash Mountains, and again the wait was so minimal. And made a few more friends.

Then finally, at 5:35 we rode our last new ride of the day - Haunted Mansion - ride #19 for us.
That ride stopped at least 4 times, before and after we got on. I don’t know what happened but it seemed like the rides were all buggy. Winnie the Pooh was out for several hours, and even Pirates went offline for awhile. I never remember so many rides closing down. One of the spots we got stopped was where there’s a knocking on the door, a casket opening, and lightning flashing, and it was just too much for Frankie-girl. She hated it!

We had just enough time to get in line for one more ride before 6:00. Frankie chose Mine Train, so off we ran one last time. We made more friends there and got the lowdown on the Christmas party going on that night. We made our way to Main Street for some shopping. We didn’t even think about doing any of that till after we couldn’t ride anymore.
One ride I saw on a Disney experience video that I had never even heard of was Main Street Vehicles, so we had to grab a shot with their cool double decker.
We had initially planned to head over to Disney Springs for shopping and dinner, but neither of us were hungry and we both were tired. Plus also we had Princess parking at MK. So we shopped on Main Street and hopped on our ferry with our treasures.
Not bad.
By 10:08 we were back to Dave and Fran’s house, had debriefed them, and were headed to bed on our last night in Florida.
