Philadelphia - Part 2

After the temple we walked over to the Franklin Institute since we’d gotten a good deal on an annual pass last time.

We met up with the Darrow’s there and checked out a lot of areas we’d not been to. The kids played in the railroad and flight areas. This pic was right before we almost threw down because a bigger boy tried to bully Addie out of her turn on this computer. 🙄

The weather area was really cool.

We mostly found benches and relaxed while the kids played.

Frankie even wants to do the Franklin Institue for her birthday, she likes it that much.

We stayed here till almost 5:00 when Delaney finally got the wish of her heart to play in the giant heart.

She and Emma ran through the heart at least 10 times.

Matt and Josh walked to get our cars and picked us up. Everything went swimmingly. I was able to convince Matt that we needed some authentic Philly cheesesteaks from Pat’s, and then, because the girls have no taste, we got them chic-fil-a.

We had a long drive home, but it went as smoothly as can be expected. We got home just after 10 and got everyone to bed, and then Matt and I continued our armchair lawyering with Making a Murderer 2. Pretty close to perfect day.
