the rest of last week

*scenes from a potty training bathroom.

tmi - we're good on #1, it's that #2 business that's got us stumped, hence the mermaid #2 treat.

i am happy to report that about an hour after this pic she earned her mermaids.

i am sad to report that that day was the only #2 success we've had.

we'll keep working on it.

*frankenberry crunch with da frankenberry crunch.

*on thursday vicki and i hit up the st. mary's co. grocery auction. it was soooo fun!

there was a real live auctioneer (that i could hardly understand) and tons of great deals. before we got there they auctioned huge boxes of grab bag chips for $5!!! so sad i missed that, my kids would have had died. i bid on some meat, shrimp, coconut water (case for $2), and soup. hopefully it's yummo. we got there a little late and had to leave early for the vt meeting, but we will definitely be going back to the next one. :)

*i had to take our truck in for some recalls on friday and it was so pleasant that i had to document.

fresh donuts, tv's, comfy sofa's, and it didn't even smell like dirty car stuff!

and best of all, a little soundproof playroom for the kiddies.

best 2 hours ever spent at the mechanics.

*little goofy is ready for halloween.

mama, not so much.

matt - homework, work extra navy day on cws, scout training w/general primary president - awesome.

michelle - chauffeur all over st. mary's county, change a million diapers, finished 2 (trucking!) books, orchestrate all family activities. 

alexis - spectate at football game (darn ankle), sleepover at our house, tennis w/peter, walk at rykens fundraiser for haiti.

christian - baseball, boy scout campout and merit badge workshop (chemistry and camping - check!), nami picnic and wood chopping 101 at mccombs.

addie - school, crafts, color on 89 pieces of paper all.over.the.house.

frankie - work on that #2 business, crafts, pick-up (and usually drop) laney 22 times.

laney - wake up every 2 or so hours each night, put up with frankie picking her up 22 times, look adorbs doing it all.

all - elenor's birthday party, church, family pics - can't wait to see how they turned out! shelly's birthday dessert party, target.
