Matt was gone 2 weeks ago in DC, then last week in Norfolk. The girls are so fun to spend time with, it was kind of fun even though we missed him. This weekend we kept Dorn kids while Chelsea camped. It rained all day Saturday, so they were cooped up, thank goodness for our basement.
Kid swaps used to be serious work. Bathing 6-8 kids on Saturday was a huge undertaking, but now all I had to do was coordinate showers. The Dorns are such good kids that in spite of the rain it was a good weekend.
Today they were calling for big storms, but instead we just got some cooler weather. It’s recital season and the girls are busy busy working their pieces. Adi is playing Burn from Hamilton and it’s so pretty.
