trick or treating on the square

saturday morning chris and i woke up early and headed out for the aforementioned bow tie shopping. we had a nice time. i really love spending time with my kiddos, especially when they are acting like real people and not... something else.

we got home and had hoagies for lunch. complete with big d's first set of olive fingers.

addie likes to have her picture taken, but we're working on an awkward picture face phase. hope it ends soon because she really is such a pretty girl but her pictures lately don't show it.

matt started his last, i repeat, last class last week! 

yaaaaaaaay!

8 more weeks (i hope) and we'll be done!

we dolled little ladies up for our 5th annual trick or treating on the square. it's such a fun event!

we went with darlaina and her 3 cute girls. 

(ashby was having wardrobe malfunctions and missed this pic, and then i never got all of them together again!)

arden was pippy longstockings and ainsleigh was nancy drew - so cute and creative!

we'd had a busy week. like, busier than usual and we'd all been running on steam. about half way through the trick or treating frankie melted down. she would still get out of the stroller to t or t, but there was lots of persuasion involved. i finally just let her be, at which time she promptly fell asleep. she stayed asleep getting into the car and when we got home she stayed asleep in the car for another 2 hours. baby was tired.

tinkerbell (delaney) stayed home to nap, barbie (alexis) had to work, the green lantern (chris) declined my invitation and watched a movie instead, and sonny (matt) worked on homework.

it was not very busy this year and that was just fine with us.

another successful year of t or t'ing on the square!
