hello, november

it's cold and dreary and we're all tired, tired, tired.
even frankie walked around all day yesterday fake yawning and saying "i'm tired."
she should be tired.
she's still coming into our room, arms full of books or toys, or blankets or whatever else she finds at 3am, every night. we usually let her fall back asleep and then take her back to her bed. or if we're really tired and she's not moving around too much we leave her.
not sure if this is the best plan, but i've never had one come into bed with me every night and not really sure what to do. hoping it gets sorted out on it's own and she'll stop.
i checked on the girls before i went to bed one night and found them like this.
together and with a bed full of books and stuffed animals.
christian's been having a tough time breathing while he's playing basketball lately so the pedi said to take him to a specialist to check for exercise induced asthma. he and matt drove through post-sandy roads on tuesday to check it out and matt sent me this picture. still waiting on the results.
and a funny pic of delaney's fangs.
she was laughing and laughing and then of course the flash-blink.
love that goof.
her new favorite thing to do is unload.
books are a fav, but she'll unload the dishwasher, toys, cloths, she's not picky.
"what are you looking at?"
the goofy was also having a rough day yesterday. after her nap she just cried and cried.
it made me sad but it's also so darn cute.
i think i'd feel a lot worse if it wasn't so cute.
and if i wasn't doing everything i could to help, but you know.
yesterday after we went to fight the school district (more details to come) we went to vote and we all got stickers. it was so fun, almost like a fair! all the canopy's set up with cookies, donuts, candy, and stickers, the girls loved it!
then a very colorful fella offered to take our picture. he thought it was just the best civics lesson that i brought my gang with me to vote and that even though they probably didn't really understand, neither did half of americans anyway. :)
rocked the vote.

we've had a surprisingly empty calendar lately which is probably adding to the case of the lazies we've got going on around here. it has been nice just to hang out at home and try to stay warm. :)
to quote frankie -
"it's so toald!"
