christian had a late basket ball game on saturday. grandpa went with me, and i actually remembered to bring my big camera, yay! i love his coach. he's got those boys practicing like a well oiled machine.

(i've been wikipedia'ing all these fun basketball terms i hear so much.:)
we were getting creamed. they had some amazing 3-point throwers!
christian's a fabulous defender.
at the end of the 3rd quarter we were still getting killed...
then our boys got down to buisness. the other team had the ball...
then christian stole it and ran!
more of that awesome defense!
this was the technical foul christian caused. maybe they were a little too excited with the defense. ;)

christian stole the ball a ton, he was all over the place.

he didn't make the second one, but dude, they were doing sooo good!
after this shot, the other team got possesion of the ball, BUT THEN the rockets stole it!
then both coaches called seperate time outs, AND THEN...
we lost the ball. :(
they got it and ran for a basket. the final score was 26-22.
but it was an awesome game and our boys rallied soooo nicely!
if only they had played that well the first half... ;)
we got home to find that matt had bbq'd a delicious dinner of chicken drumsticks.
now that we have our deck, i think we'll be grilling a lot this year!
lexi spent the whole day at school for la crosse tryouts and then went to nelson's for a movie night. grandpa and christian watched a movie here, and matt and i took advantage of delaney falling asleep during the drive to pick lexi up at 9:30 and went to bed early. i left d in her carseat because i figured she'd be awake any minute (she wakes up around 8pm and stays up till 12 or 1). but then she slept until 3:30! she might just have herself a new bed!
