add's

this girl is no longer a baby at all.
she's a full fledged little girl.
she knows her letters and most of the sounds. she's (sloooowly) learning her numbers. she knows how to use the ipad, iphone, computer, and her cd player. heaven help us if she figures out the tv!
(one of her latest poses, such a nerd!)
she has to pick her outfit each day, and she changes clothes at least twice every day, if not more. lately she has an aversion to jeans (which i haaate!). she'll say "this matches, mommy?" and if i tell her no, she'll try to rationalize to me, "but look, stripes, stripes!" then we go back and forth until we find an outfit we can both agree on.
she's learning how to do chores and is saving money in her piggy bank for a bike. she sets the table, picks up toys, fetches and throws away diapers, and makes her bed. my little middle child is a sweet sister, both big and little.

she loves sweets, gum, letters, baths, clothes, jewelry, playing on phones and computers, books, and doing crafts. her drawing skills are seriously improving! seems like every day she adds more details - mittens, shoes, open mouths, straight/curly/ponytailed hair, it's so cute!
her fav song right now is let the music play that she found on matt's ipad, little weirdo!
she talks about loving primary, but cries every week when dropped off. sweet paige holds her and rubs her back every sunday while addie cries for a few minutes. she loves her primary cd and has the 2012 primary song (as a child of God) down pat.
she is ready for school and to ride the school bus, although she's been lukewarm at preschool lately. she'll be okay and participate and then just shut down for a few minute (such a girl!). she's sweet and gentle, and bossy and loud all at the same time. if i'm reprimanding any of her siblings, she's quick to jump in and back me up with a "calm down, lexi!" or "bubba, you shouldn't do that!" or "franks, time out! 1, 2..."
she's an adventurous and sweet little girl. she is smart (when she wants to be!) and gentle and has so.much.energy!
i love my addie-cakes!

Love that first picture. In addition to being a great writer, you're also a very good photographer. Course, I'm just being objective.
