monday was presidents day and there was no school.
so we partied. :) my sweet friend mindy, who has been through more in her life than anyone should have to go through, got married and is leaving us! and it was her birthday, too!
so we had a big group lunch and visited and had a good time.
and what's a birthday without a sombrero???
then on tuesday, delaney had her follow-up appt to make sure she reached her birth weight. i wasn't on the ball and didn't set up a babysitter for these two, so they came with us.
they were actually really good. :)
i am sooooo excited that frankie finally has enough hair for me to put a barrette in!
she doesn't like it and takes them out a lot, or as you can see here, she messes with it so it's crooked and looks funny, but oh well.
she's been called a boy one to many times, and i love accessorizing, so there.
i swear my babies have never had trouble keeping their birth weight! frankie weighed 10.1 at her 2 week check, my babies have just been fatties! i kind of think it might be partly that delaney is such a sweet girl and doesn't cry much that maybe i wasn't feeding her quite enough? you know, the squeaky wheel gets the grease kind of thing? either way, she finally got back up to her birth weight by one ounce! (9.13 lbs)
thankful we don't have to go back to the dr for another month!
