day 2 found us exhausted, but in beautiful hilton head, south carolina. matt was up early (of course!) and i forced myself to roll out of bed and go with him for our free continental breakfast. (gotta use the free breakfast!) we ate and grabbed some yogurts for everyone else. the girls and mindy's gang got moving around 10:30 and we were off to the beach. it was so pretty! i didn't get any good pictures of the beach, but it was really nice and hilton head is really swanky.

sooo, i didn't get a lot of pictures of people frolicking in the waves... but here's an after shot of cuddling with daddy.
as we were trying to set our camera up for a timed shot, a nice passerby offered to take a picture of us and... he actually did a good job!
la familia's.
we were able to get a 2:00 check-out, so after an hour or so at the beach, we headed back to the hotel to clean up and let these 2 burn off more energy while we packed up the cars. here they were playing on the 'grumpy old troll bridge' and climbing fences.
after driving and naps and driving some more, we finally made it to florida! we stopped at the worlds cutest welcome center in florida, which i highly recommend should you ever find yourself driving in on i-95.

we rolled up into orlando around 9 or 10 and with no further weather incident. :)
