it was 'red' day for school yesterday, and addie doesn't have many red shirts, so we improvised. :) she headed off to school just after 8, and then i picked her up just before 10 for her first cavity filling. :(
she had laughing gas to help her relax.
as i sat there watching her i just wanted to cry.
please Heavenly Father, please don't let her have my teeth!
she was awake, but she just laid there, calm and still. it was my first experience with laughing gas and i thought it was pretty crazy.
she did laugh a little bit when they used one of the tools, and then at one point she started humming, i thought that was pretty cute.
she was done in about 15 minutes and she was feeling no pain!
after they turn off the laughing gas, they turn on pure oxygen for a few minutes. she didn't complain until we got in the car, and then she asked why her mouth was asleep and said it felt funny.
when we got home she complained a few times, so i got her some tylenol. my poor baby! oh i hope this is just a one time thing! i will be so sad if she has my terrible teeth!!!
chris was very excited to have a day off. he lounged and helped with the girls a little bit. laura came over and we planned some of our upcoming lighthousing weekend. lexi went to salsa's with aubs and then to cheer practice, and then home for homework. after dinner, which was a combo of leftovers and christian's fry daddy fried fare, chris and i headed our for some shopping while grandpa and matt held down the fort. just another day!
and some addie art, just for good measure. there's not a lot of color here, but i love these just the same.
