friday

friday was a cws for matt so we had made arrangements to do a temple kids swap with the darrows.

we left just before 9 and matt and i were able to make the 11 session.

it was really wonderful.

alecia and josh took the kids around the visitors center while they waited and all the kids got "little missionary" stickers.

we came out at 1 and loaded up the car and brought all the kiddos home.

they were so good, especially considering they rode in the car for 4 hours.

while we were driving curtis suggested that we do our craft that we hadn't gotten to on monday, which i thought was a great idea.

so when we got home we made our christmas tree ice cream cones.

i let them each eat 1 piece of candy and then add as many as they wanted to their trees.

they had fun and the trees came out cute.

i made a delicious chicken nugget dinner and the kids all played and played.

then alecia brought us a cafe rio salad, yum!

when i was changing delaney's diaper that night she crawled away from me. and she does not like her bare knees on the wood floor. so she army crawls, whick i love to see!

 pretty funny.

we finished the night with white christmas, love that movie!

my favorite song is sisters, cause i used to sing it with amy.

pretty sure there's a nice rendition of that on some seagrove family home movies too, might have to dig that up. :)

 

alexis stayed home from school cause she wasn't feeling well.

i suspect that part of it was that she didn't want to cheer at the basketball game that night, but i guess i'll never know.

christian had plans to play bball with the missionaries but they had to cancel, so he was home all evening too.

it was another good day. :)
