Christmas eve

every year one of my family is in charge of Christmas jammies.

this year was jeff's turn and he got us personalized pj's, woo-hoo!

addie wasn't a fan.

you never can tell with that one.

the rest of us were pretty impressed.

just look at elder anderson, that even gets a whistle.

and then when chris made fun of elder anderson just sitting there all nice and proper, a striked pose.

right about this time matt started to feel sickie.

and he kept feeling sick all through Christmas day. :(

 

 

 

 

i, on the other hand was feeling very reindeery.

 

and christian very silly.

then it was family picture time.

almost impossible to get one with everyone looking good.

but this one was pretty close. :)

addie looks like she's plotting something...

then we had to leave cookies for santa.

notice that addie had already taken off her special Christmas jams.

the cute streeters had brought over some minty oreos that the girls wanted to leave out for santa.

and they were finally ready for bed.

then it was time for santa's helpers to get to work.

delaney the elf helped a ton.

and she also got to preview the loot.

frankie also came down, (twice) as she does many nights cause she "can't sleep."

she saw the cars and kept saying "i want the car," except it doesn't sound like car, it sounds something like "tchar," or something like that. i thought she'd forget about the "tchar" but i'll be darned if the next morning she didn't wake up talking about wanting her "tchar."

after we finally got everything picked up and put together we went to midnight mass at st. aloyisious.

there was some great music and it was really interesting. we all had a ton of questions! after we took friends home and finally climbed into bed around 2am.

with visions of sugarplums dancing in our heads. :)
