thursday

we had a day full of friends yesterday. my friend alecia went out of town, so we got to play with curtis and lily for the day. and if 2 friends are good, then 5 friends are better! sarah drove all the kiddos to preschool and then she, abby, and ellie came over. then delaney and ellie had a stare down. ;)

the kids were really good and played outside most of the day. our nice neighbors behind us have a big playhouse, and they don't mind if the kids play on it, so they were in heaven. after the 2-year-old crowd woke up from their naps, sarah and crew left and i took the remaining 5 to the park. the 3-year-old crowd hadn't napped or rested though, and they were pretty disgruntled. we only lasted about 20 minutes before addie and lily had major meltdowns and we decided to bag the park for a movie. as we were walking home, lily and addie were so pathetically crying that i just had to take a picture. :)

don't you feel so bad for them?!

ps - addie cried the whole way home and earned herself some quiet time in her room until she could calm down. :)

matt stayed out late to study, lexi and i took gideon to run some errands and have a little girl time at salsas, and christian stayed home with the 2 little big girls to give them a bath. after baths, christian and i went for another run and saw the first fireflies of the season.

yay, summer is coming!!!
