it's a lighthouse and a surf museum!!!
match made in heaven for my hubs and i!
it's just a small and cute little surf museum. this lighthouse is a replica that was funded by a couple who had lost their 18 year old son in a surfing accident. they remembered how much their son had enjoyed lighthousing (who wouldn't?!) on a recent family vacation, and decided to fund the lighthouse/museum with the insurance money they received. super sweet.
it was a cool time to be in the area because they had just finished up with the maverick surf competition. matt would have died, the waves were so huge and there were surfers everywhere.
t'was such a good day. :)
