Flag Pond Beach

First of all - Lexi's home!!!!

Bestie Robin, Frankie, and I drove up to Baltimore Monday night and brought home my big girl.
Of course, despite thinking about it all day, I forgot my camera. :(
But we made memories that will be written on our hearts. ;)
What's that about, eh?
Inside joke, sorry.

Anyways, on Tuesday my friend Lana had invited us for a beach picnic and I tried to get Lex and Robin to come but they opted for sleep after their all-nighter getting re-acquainted.

Anyways, I took the babies and we had a fabulous time.
Addie was in heaven chasing after the big kids. And they were so sweet and patient with her. They let her trail them, they didn't go to deep, the made sure she didn't drown, it was awesome!

Frankie and her rolls hung out with the mama's.
Colleen held her for a long time and she did really well.
With her cute backwards hat.

Somebody loves her feet!

Addie had so much fun!
She loved writing in the sand!

And exploring.
.
Then a seagull came and flew around our picnic area for a few minutes and what a great babysitter that was! She could have chased that thing for hours!

Then the water loosened Addie's bowels enough and it came time for her to take off her swim suit and put on her summer uniform: undies.

The big kids had so much fun finding fish and crabs.
This was one of the rare live one's they brought to show us. :)

The big kids also became jellyfish police.
They caught and buried as many as they could.
Can you see him in there?

They know from watching Finding Nemo that they can touch the top of the body without getting stung so they all did that. And my super-brave big girl wasn't gonna be left out!
She would have picked it up if I would have let her! As it was she touched it a bunch and then stuck her finger all the way through it and said "ewwww!" and laughed and laughed!

The (hot) mama's!

And someone who sat cross legged holding a baby all day forgot to put sunscreen on her legs.
Someone is pretty uncomfortable.

And even though there's sand everywhere and it was a lot of work, it was so fun and we'd do it again in a heartbeat!
