Kent Island Day

We found ourselves with a free Saturday (9/20) and Frankie needed a few pairs of pants, so we headed to the mall in Annapolis, and D was uninterested.
We walked around the mall and 4/5's of us enjoyed it.
After our shopping we watched a movie at their nice theater - one of my favorite things to do.
Frankie has been talking about adventuring on Kent Island, I don't know why.
But she wanted to and she even found a park for us to hike to the beach.
We love exploring new places!
Best friends!!!
We made it to the beach and if you know Delaney you know she'll never stay dry at the beach.
She rolled up her pants and went to work.
There was a family nearby and they offered to take a pic for us.
Matt, Frankie, and I walked the beach while Adi and D played and chatted in the sand. The coolest thing was watching a cruise ship come through the channel in Baltimore and under the bridge. I have no spatial intelligence and I'm always scared ships won't clear bridges. Good news, it did!
It was such a pretty day and such a pretty location.
There wasn't much of a coastline because of high tide.
I love family time.
Delaney had to clean herself up before we headed out.
And one more shot before heading to dinner.

We've seen Libby's Coastal Kitchen crossing the Bay Bridge for so many years and we were so excited to have dinner on their gorgeous deck!
The food was soooo good and we were there at sunset and the weather was perfect and it was just so such an amazing day. And D is a turd.
After dinner we walked down to their lawn to watch the last few minutes of the sunset.
The girls were doing photo shoots and cartwheels and basically running amok.

Heaven.
And she's gone.
We chatted the whole way home and it was just one of those perfect happy days.
