Matt asked me last week if I could make some cinnamon rolls for seminary and i just haven’t been able to make it happen. But we were at Target Wednesday night and saw their fun whipped creams so we got them and I offered to make up a hot chocolate bar.
This seminary teacher said yes please!
They hung out and enjoyed their warm cocoa for awhile and everyone was very gracious and grateful.
Adi volunteered at the oyster festival setup so she didn’t dress up on Thursday and while Lily was finishing her makeup these two wanted a goofy shot. Frankie’s midsummer and Abby’s St. Patrick’s Day.
The 3 that dressed up. ☘️
I found a cute Bluey instructional picture so I sent this to the babes.
Emmett did such a good job! ๐
I love all our Halloween pictures. Christian was the cutest and happiest little Hershey Kiss back in 1998.
I worked on leadership training until I just couldn’t go over it any more. I had to just step away and have faith that it would all work out and it did.
I left at 3:30 and picked up a pretty autumn bouquet from the Amish shop and met Susanne and George at the stake center at 5. There were some missionaries there and they offered to help us so we got everything set up and decorated pretty quickly. When Heather and Sarah arrived with the food at 6 we prayed together and sat down to eat. I haven’t eaten, I think ever at an org training, so it was nice to have the time to sit and visit and eat together. I love these ladies i am privileged to serve with, I had no idea how much I would come to love all the sisters I’ve been blessed to know throughout the stake.
Everything went really well. Sarah conducted, for the first time ever and she rocked it. Susanne was great - she’s always funny and has such good things to say. I was thrown off for a hot minute because I was talking about President Boyd’s vision for missionary work and he walked in right before. But it was great and he was able to add his testimony. Then I shared about having confidence in the Lord and in our abilities. Heather talked about councils and then we separated with our counterparts and counseled together, and I think that was everyone’s favorite part. I loved seeing my presidents sharing ideas and asking questions. We talked about presiding, overwhelm, and faith crisis’. It was such a great way to end the evening. Everyone pitched in to get everything put away and I drove home so happy and relieved. Such a wonderful night and so glad it’s over. And I didn’t take a single picture. ๐ข ๐ข ๐ข
This morning was the final day of spirit week - school spirit day. Freshman wore silver sophomore’s in white, and juniors in blue. Matts seminary is junior heavy.
I saw these cute kids off to school and went back to bed. ❤️ I met up with Manuela at 10 and she updated me on JustServe. We’ve got plans to meet some community food pantries, so I’m looking forward to that. We had change your life chicken for dinner, always a crowd pleaser, and Alli came down for a quick visit. Tonight Adi is babysitting, Delaney went to her long dance night 5-7:30, and Frankie and Matt went to the homecoming game.
