Rocket man!

Christian is playing basketball for the rockets again this year. He had a choice between his coach from last year (who was awesome!) and his BFF mike's coach, who happened to have the only undefeated team last year.

The problem was, he's kind of a mean coach. He yelled a lot and definitely expected to win, whereas Christians coach was very focused on learning the fundamentals, everyone playing, teamwork, drills, etc.

Even though both mike and David were set to play for the terps, Christian decided to stick with his old coach, and I am so proud of his choice.

Their first game was last Saturday and they won by a lot. This past Saturday they played the terps. There was lots of friendly trash talk going around between the boys and it was a great game! A real nail biter the whole time! Especially the last few minutes where they were within a point of each other and kept switching possession of the ball. But I am happy to report that the rockets won! By one point and the skin of their teeth!

I am also happy to report that Christian's playing has improved and he seems more confident and happy about playing.
