seattle post #6 - july 26th-aug 2nd

after a nice, recharging girls trip, i was ready to come home and finish out our seattle trip.
on tuesday we met up with chantell, cami, and grandpa ray for a seattle aquarium visit.
we took pictures, buuuuut. you know.
we were lucky to get to spend some time with cami and cosette while they were visiting from germany.
after that it was back to granpda's house for dinner, visiting, and some bingo and chocolate game.
the next day we met up with the same group for lunch.
i am so lucky to have such fun sister-in-laws, we always have a good time together. :)

tom's birthday was the 29th. for his birthday he chose to go out to the beach and have a little picnic. so we headed down to our old stomping grounds at coulon park. we brought chips and games and fun.
franks sporting her 2-piece. and always on the go!

a few of tom's friends joined us for the festivities.
me and my lu!

as the sun was going down, tom and bonnie decided to get in the water. it was sooo cold! addie was like, "woo-hoo! i love schwimming!" (she adds the 'ch' sound to anything that starts with a 'sw' and i love it!)
it was cute and fun.
on the 30th, amy had gotten us tickets to go to a mid-day mariners game. i loooove going to see the mariners! even though they always lose. :) there were 10 of us, so we were left with a dilemma, do we pile into the mini-van, or take the lightrail, or take 2 cars? parking is so expensive, the lightrail would have been even more expensive with all those people, and we were running late. so we decided to pile into 1 car and low-ride. bonnie was a good sport and squeezed in between addie and anthony's carseats.

and tom and lex squeezed in the very back. i was terrified that we might get rear-ended! probably wasn't the best idea... oh well.

kristi had gone out early that morning and bought everyone matching mariners shirts!
it was so cute and we looked totally rad!

before the game we went across the street for the cheap brats and snacks. yummmm! i loooove game food! brat with onions and cream cheese = deliciousness!!! add some red vines, kettle corn, and then garlic fries once you get inside and you've got yourself one nice little feast.
and yes, i know where my priorities lie.
*the whole gang at the game.
we were in the veeery last row with a great view of the outfield. :)
uncle tom with addie and anthony.
i wub my fwankie!

frankie loves her auntie, but also her mama. :)
goof balls.

we tried to get a picture of the 3 of them but franks wasn't having it.
as per usual.
we settled for these 2.
by the end of the game, frankie was really mad. tom and bonnie volunteered to take her for a walk.
end of the game waiting for everyone to leave. see how high up we were?
they played the tampa bay rays and the m's actually won!!!
that was a rare surprise!
after game photo-ops.
franks is usually a little late to get it on the action.
the whole gang in our matching gear. :)
that night tom and crew came over to open presents and eat cake.
happy 22nd tom tom!

frankie thoroughly enjoyed her cake.
thoroughly.
she's so darn cute so it's okay.
the next day was my birthday and nearing the end of our trip. i hadn't told many people we would be in seattle because it's always so hard to fit everyone in, and even though i love seeing everyone, i was preggy, sick, tired, and still busy with family. anyways, allie had mentioned to some people we used to work with on the dinner train and they came up with a game night idea and it just happened to work out on my birthday. so maureen and fam came over. her daughter genevieve is just a few months older than addie so they were cute together.
bonnie and tom had brought over a bunch of toys for addie and frankie to play with while we were there (so nice!) and they also brought over these 4 chairs. earlier that night, alexis had been sitting on one and it broke and she fell and it was so funny. then maybe an hour later, bonnie did the same thing, only this time dad was ready with the camera. :)
cuties. :)
 the spirit of washingtons finest.
(allie, me, maureen, and kelly)

and a bonus shot of uncle tom reading to the kiddos. :)
we left for home on aug 2.
let's just say that it was all very dramatic and we almost missed our flight and leave it at that.
we had a looong flight with another 2 stops, but lexi was a trooper and helped a ton, and the little girls were pretty good too.
we had a really fun trip, but it was really good to be home!
