We left at 1:00 to meet up with Dan and Chantell for dinner, but first stop, the mall for Santa pictures. There were carolers ahead of us looking so festive!
I haven’t taken kids for Santa pictures in ages and I used to be religious about it. It was a spendy little endeavor, but I’m glad we did it.

Then I stopped to talk to people about our women’s conference and I thought the crew went to get seats but they didn’t and that is how we missed our bluegrass Christmas concert. Whomp whomp. Instead we got to walk through the crèches and continue visiting, so I think it worked out.

I love advent calendars, but do advent calendars love me? Really, we don’t need 24 of anything. Even the nice Ulta and Sephora ones I’ve gotten the girls to share the past few years, they don’t need or use half the stuff they get. And activity advent calendars get a little stressful and we always fall behind. And then why does something fun feel like a chore to catch up on? Suuuuch 1st world problems.
The next day was Inklings and we had the best discussion! I wrote down so many notes for my stake conference talk.
Alli came down that day and we puzzled. Now there’s an advent calendar that I do love! An advent calendar puzzle - I look forward to putting a little together each day.
We walked tenkor and watched Christmas movies and pre-trip milestones- finished the leftovers in our fridge.
