December 20th

Ehlyvia came down from Baltimore to spend Saturday with us. Because we are full time fun, we invited her to watch Matt climb our extra tall ladder and clean out our lint filter.

Another year of safely performing home maintenance.
Last Valentine’s Day I bought the prettiest game that had really good reviews on Amazon called Wingspan. We tried to play it several times, but it’s super complicated. We watched YouTube videos and when Josh and Michelle visited we had Josh look at it and it’s just so hard to understand. So over Thanksgiving Ehlyvia mentioned liking it and we were like - teach us to play!!! So she did and she mostly remembered everything and it was extremely long and we still don’t totally understand it but it was decently interesting and it really is pretty and I like learning about the different birds.
We went on a walk to look at Christmas lights and we made her a home cooked pizza - okay Adi did, and watched a Christmas movie and it was a really lovely day.
It started off awkward as we’re still getting to know each other, but she warmed up to us and ended up staying till 11. I want to get up to see her again soon!
Brian lives in Florida now and has been up to visit Christian and Jeanne several times. He loves our Ruby! They’ll miss each other when they move to New York next month!
