New Year’s Eve 2024

We ate appetizers and played games as this really hard year came to a close.

We did an early countdown and toast with the boys and tucked them snuggly into their beds.

They were very excited and they loved the hats and glasses I brought.

I had to help them tuck the glasses under the hats so they’d stay on, and I had to help them many times.

After they went to bed Alexis really wanted us to watch a movie called Only the Brave. She told us it was a true story and really good, and that’s it. It was really good but the saddest movie ever and we were all questioning why she brought our night down like that.

To bring the vibes back up we continued our game fest.

Adi got really good at Skull King, the boys worked hard to understand the scoring, and i got to step 3 in teaching Alexis to keep score before she gave up. Big things happening over here in the Skull King world!

There were fireworks going off all night, so after the real countdown we all went outside to watch them and Delaney banged pots and pans all up and down the street.

Here’s to a new year and may 2025 bring a stronger reliance on the Lord and willingness to accept His will.
