home alone

today is my first day home alone with the 3 little girls!

so far, so good!
i haven't sat down but to feed miss d, but that's the beauty of breastfeeding, right? it makes you take a break even if you don't want to.

and i want to, so it works. :)

(all from last week and all taken with my phone. someday i'll download my camera pics. but probably not today. not sure about tomorrow either.)

refreshingly, she does very little of this.

she sleeps in a bouncy seat by my bed that has a vibrate function. it turns off after about 30 minutes, so throughout the night she'll let out a little 'wah,' i reach over, turn on the vibrate, and 8 times out of 10, she goes right back to sleep. not as good as if she slept all night, and i still feed her twice a night, but at least i'm not getting up several times with a fussy one.

she also sleeps in her boppy. and check out her shoes. :)

she does do a lot of this.

and so do the rest of us. :)

(ps - she's got a little bruise over her left eye and also on her left nostril. i guess she burst some blood vessels by being born too quickly? thats what the dr. said, or something like that. her face was bruised, but thats gone away. just fyi.)
