We’ve had the stormiest summer. I love a stormy summer night so I was stoked.
This was crazy, someone came to our door one day to let me know they would be digging in our yard. I was like, can I say no, and he was like, no, it’s right of way, so that was that. I came home to a giant trencher on the grass too. Wild.
On Tuesday morning I drove the jolly green up to the stake center and kissed the girls goodbye for youth conference. Adi had said she really didn’t want her family to be in one of the vans, so naturally, she came to let me know that her family was in the van. She came around to it, but it was kind of a bummer. Also, I sent her this. 🤣
There was a group of us that helped load the busses and then I chatted with Patrea for a long time and she stayed with me as we locked the building after everyone left. Delaney had a week of dance intensive and she loved it. It was just from 9-12, but they worked hard and she was sore every day.
And how about this, put back exactly right, huh?

I went walking with Alecia one morning while D was at ballet. Delaney is such an easy only child. We never run out of things to talk about. I made her do a BJ’s run with me one day and we loved this ugly chenille love seat! She wants it for her bed! It was v comfy.

I caught up on some of my summer tasks that have been left undone by our summer playing. This achievement happened. Go me. 💪🏻

On the 17th this little cutie turned 6 months old. Can’t wait to see him next week! He’s getting so big!

That day on my way to pick kids up from youth conference I stopped at Wells Fargo to close one of dad’s accounts I was on. As I waited I started to think about the last time I was there, which was with my dad, and so naturally I started crying. 🤣 The banker was very sweet and understanding. My life is so different now than when my dad lived here, I have so much more time and I just wish he could still be here. It’s such a bummer. I miss him.

I was asked to go to the church early to make sure it was open before everyone arrived, but Natalie texted that they were good to open it, so i ran some errands before picking the girls up. I loved hearing all about their adventure! And someone had this cute license plate at the church.

Adi especially just wanted to stay home for the weekend. So we did. We played games and went to the pool and slept in. This cute memory popped up.

As of today, no blogging today, but actual today we have 4 more weeks of summer and I am savoring every last second.
