We started Saturday slow and steady. We all slept in and I did some laundry stripping for some stinky kitchen towels. This generation has some weird habits, and they document them for all to see.

I made Matt and I lovely brekkie sandwiches with some bric-a-brac from the fridge and we did some preconference Saturday tasks.

I found this Facebook memory. ❤️

Today I loved Shumway, Runia, Soares, Kearon, Tai, and Nelson - but really again they were all so good. I really felt the overarching theme was an urgency to prepare myself and family and community for the saviors second coming, which is very exciting. President Nelson announced 15 new temples, and Virginia is really having a heyday. They went from zero temples a few years ago to now 1 operating temple and 3 more announced. Yay! What a time to be alive.

Guess that movie -

If you guessed Frozen, you were right. 🤣

I love conference check in’s so we sent this to Matt’s brothers and dad. Lucky Cosette was at the conference center. Someday!

This cutie was all springy. Even though I really wanted to visit North Dakota I am so glad they live so close! I need to schedule a visit asap!

Frankie and Adi’s young women classes got matching socks so they shared sock pics. I love little things that unite us like that. Adi invited girls to watch a session here but only Lily came. They had a lovely time in the basement together anyway.

Matt and Delaney went to see the LMS play and missed most of the middle Saturday session, so that was a bummer, but otherwise we were glued to our teli. I can’t ever pick a favorite talk. Of course I loved Holland, Johnson, Rasband, Eyering, Anderson, Boom, Uchtdorf… I really thought they were all so very good and needful.

Today was another glorious slow morning. Matt and I went for a walk and it was muggy and hot. He invited the Hunts to the afternoon session and he planned lunch and everything. I helped with the extra little touches and it was lovely.

And delicious.

Delaney really likes Christina which is fortunate because she’s a smidge antisocial. We’re working on it but it’s a marathon not a sprint. They took notes and the boys colored and after we visited and the kids jumped on the trampoline.

Then when they left we went for a walk and it was chilly and windy. It went from summer to winter, I swear. So. Much. Pollen.
