#4 Belmont Manor and Historic Park

Our last stop was at Belmont manor for an outdoor showing of Ralph breaks the Internet. We got there and set up our spot. There weren’t many people there and it was sooo pleasant.

Then we were able to walk around and take in the gardens. Oops Frankie!

They had a large pond the girls enjoyed.

Frogs and other creatures were spotted.

This place holds weddings, but also several free public events like outdoor movies and concerts.

Oh D and that smile.

All the heart eyes. 😍😍😍

We walked up the little hill to the manor house.

D wanted to walk down the stairs like Cinderella.

And then back up.

That’s her Cinderella walk, by-the-way.

Then the girls ran off and we contemplated parking it on those Adirondack chairs and letting Izzy watch the movie with the girls.

So pretty!

But eventually we made our way back.

The girls plowed through their special movie snacks. They were so cute, it doesn’t take much to make them happy.

They popped fresh (and delicious!) popcorn and best of all it was all free!

This goes down as one of my favorite 50 MBP. It was all just so nice. It was a cool evening, sunset, lightning bugs everywhere glittering in the grass and trees.

We saw the movie in the theater but it was fun to see it again, and C&Iz had never seen it and laughed and laughed.

The movie finished around 10, and by the time we had packed and pottied up, we didn’t get home till after midnight. Chantell and I talked the whole way and the girls slept, so it wasn’t bad at all.

And that’s what we call a super fabulous adventure day.
