#19 George Peabody Library

We got up Saturday morning without a plan. Then I used my wiles to talk Matt into another adventure day. We had to wake #3&#5 to get going, but everything else ran smoothly! And we were off to Baltimore!

We had to rush because our first stop, the Peabody Library closed at 1.

I don’t know when the girls started miming, but it was cute and they were being quiet, so keep up the good work!

George Peabody was an amazing businessman and philanthropist and wanted to make books accessible to people.

It was fun to read about him and also fun to see this amazingly beautiful library.

The girls were fascinated with the card catalogs.

And everyone was super bummed that we couldn’t walk up the stairs. That part is staff only.

All our little readers had fun picking out books and perusing them.

“Take my picture, mommy!” 🤷‍♀️

There were several groups taking professional pictures around the small library.

We were just there to have fun and read.

More photo shoots going on.

The library is small, so we were done fairly quickly and off to our next adventure.
