in no particular order:

 * i feel like i've been up to my eyeballs in this:

i.hate.paperwork.

and clutter.

and junk.

(and yes, that is my finger in the top right corner and no, i don't think i'll ever learn to move my big finger before i take pictures with my phone)

*bunk bed update: after a horrendous weekend of sleep (or no sleep, actually), i was ready to abandon the great bunk bed experiment of 2012. but when i got home last night, matt had put both girls to bed in their bunks, and they went happily. and now i am happy to report that it's 6:30am and, aside from a 5 minute whimpering session from frankie in the middle of the night, they are still asleep.

*we are all ready for some summer fun!

we've got some fun beach trips planned and everyday addie asks me if it's summer yet.

 it goes like this.

"mommy, is it summer yet?"

"no, what season is it?"

"spring."

fastforward anywhere from 5 minutes to an hour.

"mommy, is it summer yet?"

"no, it's still not. what season is it?"

"spring."

and repeat.

*i got these goofy hats after easter clearance. the girls love them, and since we were just headed to shelly's house, i let addie wear it over. and check out her dress, looks like she's got a new favorite!

(she's into making goofy faces for pictures and then she immediately checks herself out)

shelly and i had a nice visit and then she kept the big girls while laney and i ran to the commissary.

i never thought a big ($300) trip to the commissary would relieve stress, but even just that small break was nice.

*this little girl is soooo sweet! i love when babies get so excited that they wave their arms all crazy style. matt brought her home from c's baseball game last night because it was cold and i thought we only had another hour. then the game lasted another 2 hours, so when i got home, she was furious. matt said "i don't think she'll calm down if you hold her, i think she just wants to eat." but as soon as i took her she stopped crying and stared at me like, where have you been?  melts my heart!

*i've been trying to spend a few minutes with alexis every night before she goes to bed. sometimes she doesn't want to talk, but we had a fun convo the other night (as she straightened her hair). and we're still reading the BoM together, so yay!

*i put frankie to nap in her crib and when i went to check on her, this is what i found.

they are so sweet.

when the sleep. ;)

*yikes.

that's all i have to say about this one.

no actually, i have more to say. in theory, having another driver in the house sounds great.

 in reality, it scaaaaares me. deep breath. i can do this.
