i have a confession to make.
i hate coloring easter eggs.
despite my best efforts, i am not a crafty person.
despite my best efforts, i am not a crafty person.
i've come to terms with that and i put forth effort when i really want to do something.
i believe i can be crafty, it just doesn't really come naturally to me.

but at easter all the good little mama's color eggs with their good little ones.
i've managed to get around it for the last , uhhm probably 4 years.
last year was the first year addie would have really cared and we were in florida so we didn't do any.

it was wonderful.
but alas, this year there was no fun florida trip to be had. so i stoically stripped the girls down, got out the vinegar and colored cups, and boiled the eggs. then i set them loose. franks only wanted to paint. and only purple. whatever, she was happy (and she whined super bad whenever i tried to take the paintbrush away, so i rolled with it.)
dig the one earring, sup-ah stylin!
addie appreciated all the colors. and the stickers. and the sparkles. and the jewels.
christian declined coloring any eggs. lexi chose to do 2. that left about 16 for the little girls to do, which they were totally happy with. and the good news is that i don't have to do it again for another year. ;)

I know this will be a BIG surprise...I never enjoyed coloring eggs, either. For the same reasons, pretty much. I know, I hid it well.
I don't love coloring eggs either. This year we skipped it and no one noticed!!
or at least they didn't ask
