matt came home from work early on monday so we could go sign for our taxes. as soon as the girls woke up from their naps, we headed up to charlotte hall. after, we looked at some sheds. gotta spend that income tax money! ;) but really, it's been on our list for the 3 years that we've lived here. slowly we're checking things off that list.
when we got home we walked over to lana's house for fhe and an easter dinner. i found a potatoes au gratin recipe by pioneer woman. she says "can there be a bad potatoes au gratin recipe?" and i'm here to say that yes, there can. or maybe just a bad cook? either way, i hate when i bring something to a potluck and it bombs. i'll just have to redeem myself extra yummy next time.
(is it just me, or is my writing making even less sense than it usually does? eh, cest' la vie.)

kristin and delaney bonded all night long, which was super nice for me. visiting with friends with the full use of both of my hands? yes, please.
lana's dad gave a really nice fhe lesson. and then i felt sad again that we don't have any grandparents that live close. it was really nice to have a grandfatherly lesson. :)
then the dads hid some eggs and the kiddos went hunting.

it was a nice day and a nice night. and i'm loving being able to stretch easter out for as long as possible. we've learned all about the Resurrection and the true meaning of easter.
and the girls are getting to be pretty good egg hunters. ;)
