Tulip Town

It’s not often that we’re in northern Washington state and even less often that we’re there during the peak bloom of their 2 month tulip season.

It was $$$ but we had to go.

This was tulips round 2 for me as I’d gone years ago with Lu & Bub and Cami & Cosette. Having kids for so long means you do most big things like this more than once.

We took a cute trolley ride around the farm.

It was nice outside and just a liiiittle bit chilly.

It was feeding time, so we got an odd assortment including - nachos, a pickle, kettle corn, cheeseburger, Italian soda, and hot chocolate.

So much cuteness everywhere you look.

My favorite was the Spring Blend right behind us.

There were lots of people there dressed up so cutely all ready for beautiful pictures.

Those people were not us. 🤷‍♀️

There were also lots of doggy photo shoots going on, which, dogs are fine and all, but they were a little annoying because dogs don’t cooperate and they took forever.

Delaney posing for her pictures and then getting mad at Adi mid photo shoot. 🤣

At least it’s not the teen photo dodge, just the teen awkward photo.

I ❤️ tulips!

Grandpa had gone back to the car by this point because he wasn’t feeling great. The farm closed at 5 also, so we had just the right amount of time.

Adi offered a pic of me. She’s been sweet about offering lately and I never say no. Even when I probably should.

Always ready!

We were all posed and ready and then one of our besties walked right behind us. 🤷‍♀️ sometimes I’m unaware of my surroundings too I’m sure.

Take 2.

He was on fire that day. Really working it.

Anyways, we stopped at every photo spot, much to the girls chagrin. Except Adi, who was being picture lady mvp.

We stayed until 5 and then made our way back to Mike and Cami’s.

We hit some of that Seattle traffic but nothing too terrible.

We had such a good few days in the islands and the tulips were just the cherry on top.

Because I love all popcorn and the yellow blooms remind me of one of my favorite things in all the land - movie theater butter popcorn.

Adi said let me cock my head to this side.

Now the other side.

And the sweet spot right in the middle.

Anyway, here’s way more pictures than necessary.

Adi photo bomb!

And that concludes Spring at Tulip Town.
