MoPOP

We decided on another Seattle adventure day for Monday. We got a C3 pass so were able to choose 3 activities to do and the first we chose was the Museum of Popular Culture, formerly the Experience the Music Project.

We played some lame video games 👆🏼 and walked through the horror section.👇🏻

Adi and Frankie were a little nervous as it was a little creepy.

Special effects tv that ate your hand.

Adi can’t believe it!

Kind of fun.

These three were actually the first all female crew in space. 🙃 (Katy Perry et al just went and are receiving all sorts of criticism. I’m not sure how I feel about it yet)

We do love Back to the Future.

I walked to get our lunch from the car (I needed steps!) and Matt and the girls did this cool effect.

We all loved the music making section.

They had sound booths and real instruments and mics.

It was super fun!

Delaney said she was singing at the top of her lungs and no one could hear her.

She loved it!

They also had a section with a keyboard, guitar, and drums and they gave you little lessons that were very cool. Now I want to learn guitar!

❤️❤️❤️

The pop culture section had videos featuring important pop culturey things that happened each year, so we watched all of our birth years and a couple others.

These girls and their eyebrows.

Giant screen playing weird music videos.

We stayed till after 4 and they closed at 5.

We checked out their gift shop and decided we were hungry so started walking to find dinner.

You’ve always gotta get a pic with your name, right?

This was a fun picture riddle.

The girls played in this fountain when they were wee babes.

See tree, must climb.

This is actually a fun tree to climb. I try very hard not to say “be careful!” because it’s dumb and most likely not going to change any behavior.

She told me to take a picture because it would last longer.

Space Needle ❤️.

Love this fun adventurer!
