These boys do not like to play alone and that meant I didn’t get a lot done. And have I mentioned it was a busy week? 🤣 I sat them in front of the tv for my presidency meeting and they were at least contained for a bit.
I took them to run errands and everyone but everyone says “I guess they’re twins?” Only it is a good question because they’re not. Carter is maybe an inch shorter than Emmett and Lu still dresses them alike, so it’s a very fair question and I never mind people admiring our cute boys.
It’s getting warmer and Aunt D took them out for playtime on the trampoline before another 4-7 ballet rehearsal.
So cute. So much work.
That night was another triple booked night. I found out Sunday that Frankie was in charge of Wednesday’s activity. Until Wednesday afternoon I didn’t put together that Frankie also wanted to go to the teacher academy open house at the tech center that night. Frankie was like “I figured it was fine since you didn’t say anything.” 🤦♀️ We did some scrambling and in the end they just did a different activity. Anyway, Adi went to yw, Matt took Frankie to the open house (spoiler - she got in!), and I took the boys to pick up Delaney from dance.
We gave them a bath and Carter didn’t get his hair combed properly. 🤣
That night at 9 I left to pick the crew up at the airport. We got back at 1am and we were sleepy!
But we were all happy to have this cutie back!
He’s so loved!
The first performer at the girls piano recital was a boy that played a thunderous and fun song. The boys heads whipped up and Emmett said “can boys play piano???” After that he was totally into it. If they lived closer aunties could teach them. Although Lexi could too since she took years of piano lessons. And don’t mind our catch all dining room. There’s some of my dad’s things for us, Alli, bubba, and Lexi, along with a few gifts for my presidents, some graduating YW, things to donate and things to sell. All of that equals a mess.
Lu found a piano teacher for him to start when school starts. 🤗
Because there’s never a dull moment - our washing machine broke. The water wouldn’t drain out of it, so I had to take everything to my tin and ring it out and then it took forever to dry. Matt and Damian tinkered with it but nothing worked so we have a part coming hopefully today or tomorrow. And hopefully jt works.
We donated to Lexi’s new kitchen sink fund that Damian installed before they left, but I also got her this funny Sister Wives t shirt from Janelle Says. It’s her favorite SW line. 🤣
Also have I mentioned that D and A both learned to keep score at Skull King? I love not being the only score keeper!

The same thing happened with my washing machine but the part and labor was going to be more than a new one. I am so sorry! I hope it works out or you can come here and do laundry :)
