Long day surprise

Sunday was a long and productively good day. I left for stake council at 6am and got home from seminary graduation at 9pm. I went to Calvert and Bayside and met with some of my presidents and then Elizabeth and I set up a joint young woman/relief society table for the seminary graduates. A goodbye gift from young women and welcome to relief society gift from us. I was worried because it was such a long day, but it went really well. And I came home to our new front door lock, so hooray!

The girls were inbred or new summer clothes, so we had a slow morning and then had planned to go to the mall. Christian called and I talked to him and Jeanne for an hour when we heard a sweet little knock at our door. Matt answered and gathered us all for the best surprise! Instead of coming on Wednesday, Alexis and crew arrived on Monday. Surprise! This + painted fingernails is was happens when you’ve got lots of little aunties. 👇🏻

We decided to go to the mall and see the new Lilo and Stitch movie too. The aunties got the boys gumballs at the mall.

They were very happy.

Emmett’s got my curly hair! 😬

The girls took turns wearing Henry and loved it.

We got a few pairs of shorts and summer shirts, walked over to the theater - where we enjoyed 6 buckets of popcorn (we love free refills!) and a fun movie. Then the boys + Delaney and - Henry went home while the girls, - Delaney and + Henry went back to the mall for a few more things. It was an unconventional but productive Memorial Day.

It’s been so rainy and cool and lovely. Before the rain on Tuesday we took the boys to the park to get out some energy.

The boys were teeter tottering and Carter had a mishap so Mimi gave him some tlc.

This boy *loves* pappy. Pappy’s not always that much fun, so it’s pretty sweet that he’s a favorite.

We still love Skull King marathons and we’re starting this boy early. He loves it already.
