Field trip

Delaney had a Sotterley field trip on Monday, so Adi stayed home to watch the boys. It was a truly bananas and busy week and we were double booked several times. I’m glad it’s over and also glad that doesn’t happen very often.

Sotterly is beautiful and I really enjoyed the day. The kids were doing a little science project trying to get their “seeds” to go as far as possible. Like many good scientists, Delaney needed more trials as her two tests went about 2’ each time.  The furthest went 30’. 🤣

It was a chilly day, but I’ll take that over hot any day!

Ellie and several other cute girls were in our group. And they all loved watering plants!

Could have done it all day.

Adi took these two to the library and killed about 3 hours there and they were all happy as clams. Then I took them on a walk up to the mailbox. Emmett was in charge of the keys and Carter was the mail carrier. They loved it because they’re sweet and helpful boys.

Jeanne and bubba are eating all the spicy food trying to encourage Ruby to hustle! She’s due today, so needless to say their efforts have been for naught.

I quickly made dinner then dropped Delaney at ballet at 4. Their piano recital started at 7:00, so we made sure Adi and Frankie played towards the beginning of the hour, and as soon as Adi finished, Matt ran to pick Delaney up. Just as Johnna was saying “did Delaney make it back?” she waltzed right in and on up to the piano. It was crazy perfection.

They all did fabulously this year and I was so happy to have one more busy day down.
