Sunday (June 1st)

The drive home was muuuuch more smooth than the drive there. 🤣 We stopped at Amazing Wok for dinner and it wasn’t really amazing, just kind of meh. The girls sent this shot of the babes sleeping. They’re such good girls. And boys.

We got home late on Saturday and by Sunday morning it was up and at em. I showered, then bathed the boys. Adi played the organ, so she drove the girls a little early and we took the boys.

I took Emmett to his class and Matt took Carter. Singing time was soooo cute!

Carter had his hands in his pockets and swayed there singing his heart out. He didn’t really know the words, but he sang along as best as he could.

Little Clara was so sweet to Emmett. At the end of class she asked Emmett if he’d like to walk with her and when he said yes, she grabbed his hand. ❤️

Then they were learning the song Holding Hands Around the World and Chelsea said if it helped them sing the chorus they could hold hands, so again Clara asked and Emmett said yes he’d like to hold hands. It was just the most precious. Sara and I were dying. 😭

I told Clara thank you for being so sweet and grabbed one more picture. ❤️

I had a list of activities to do with the boys and one of them was stamp time.

They love art, so they loved this. Another activity was snack surprise. I used our fun colorful conference snack cups and gave them all the random food we tend to accumulate in our pantry. A lot of it was leftovers from yum boxes. Some of it they liked, some not, so I got rid of all the nots. It was fun and silly and will help them remember their time at Mimi and Pappy’s.

Delaney painted over a unicorn canvas, the baby is growing up and so is her style.
We were supposed to be able to see the northern lights one night, but I didn’t get any good pics. Admittedly, I only tried from our back porch, but still.
