Good ol’ Six Flags

Delaney made this cute little frog with all her extra scratch paper at school. That’s our tax dollars at work. 🤣

The Church is making a movie about temples around the world and are looking for people to participate so Adi and Frankie decided to throw their hats in the ring. They most likely won’t get selected, but it was fun to apply.

They had to send a headshot, profile shot, and then full body of each.

We had to laugh about it because talent profiles and headshots are not in our repertoire. As you can see.

They also made a short video about themselves and an experience at the temple. It was really cute.

We had Saturday and Monday free so we counseled together about what to do. We whittled it down to 2 activities - Six Flags and summer clothes shopping. Since Mondays weather was more iffy than Saturday, we hit Six Flags first.

I suggested a different park but Delaney in particular really wanted to go back to Six Flags.

Matt got in free for Memorial Day and the rest of us got a nice discount. Then we got 1 meal plan so we got a refillable soda and a meal every 90 minutes. Since we’ve been there so many times I know where all the restaurants are and I don’t mind standing in line.

I word my Chicks shirt and sent this to Chelsea with a thanks for being such a wonderful friend and for the sweet gift.

Throughout the day we shared a hot dog, cheeseburger, Chinese plate, nachos, and pizza. We were never overly full and also never hungry. It was perfect.

They have a new ride that was Adi’s favorite. She talked me into riding with her and it was a lot higher and faster and scarier than it looks!

Delaney really wanted Adi to ride Superman with her and Adi really didn’t want to. She “begged” on her knees and they eventually made a deal that Delaney would ride the new ride and Adi would ride Superman. They both did, and they both didn’t like the rides.

Adi has the most sensitive skin! She always has. We were telling her parts of her face were red and she asked for photographic proof. 🤣

We had a fun day!

Before we left we offered the girls a treat or a Chicfila meal for dinner. F & D chose Dippin’ Dots and Adi said she was fine. We stayed till they closed, just like the old days.

We stopped by Lowe’s on our way home to use a store credit that was fixing to expire and on to home for late showers and bed. I love spending time with this crew and it was a perfect day.
