We put together an Easter gingerbread house with the boys and they had fun.
Don’t ask how old it was. We did let the boys take a bite and they swore it was delicious but we threw the rest away.
We picked the girls up early from school and went to okada to celebrate our June girls! And if you ever want to have a quick hibachi lunch, go in at 1:00 on a Friday. You’ll be the only one there and you’ll get the worlds fastest service.
Delaney informed me Thursday that she needed new tights for her performance Friday, and lucky for her, I was able to get them delivered to an Amazon hub within 12 hours. I had never used this before and it’s pretty incredible technology.
She asked if we’d picked them up, so I sent her this surprise shot of Lexi opening them.
After lunch the dads took the boys minus Henry while the girls minus Laney went shopping for adi’s vanity.
Henry was an angel shopper.
We had no luck with the vanity but I found some cute pillows for my new euro bed - pics to come. We hustled home and Delaney and I headed down to St. Mary’s college for her ballet. I ushered in my secret spot this year and made a new friend because Alecia and I didn’t coordinate and I helped 0 people but I did smile and welcome them all. It really is the perfect spot and my new friend was sold on it.
The girls danced so beautifully and it was so fun to watch them!

The whole crew came to cheer on our cowgirl and though it was a little long for the boys, they mostly loved watching Aunt D.

Johnna and her cute mom came to see her too and that made her day. We gave her the traditional candy bouquet and she was so happy. She loves to perform!

It’s amazing how many dances Lily does! It’s been neat to get to see her since Delaney’s been dancing these past 2 years.

We stopped for treats at Weis on our way home and stayed up late playing games and then Lu and I stayed up even later talking. Such a sweet experience to have a grown daughter that shares all her ideas and feelings and worries. It was a perfect day.
