Birthday donuts! We sent this to Lu to tell her happy birthday! And they were hopping to call and tell her that too, but we waited till an appropriate hour.
Adi requested cinnamon rolls and I have a very finicky relationship with yeast so I was not excited. I even recommended something different, but decided to go for it. I’m a messy cook.

The cinnamon rolls were amazing! My best yeast baked product *ever*! I was so happy.
Someone wrote on the door and wall with crayon, and after a few minutes to think, Carter fessed up. I helped him fix his mistake.
Kids do the darnedest things.
Delaney had 4-7 ballet again and Frankie had tumbling and Adi hadn’t chosen her gift yet, so it was a weird birthday all around. Adi and Frankie ended up dropping D at ballet and going birthday shopping and then after tumbling they got dinner. We planned for a family birthday dinner later that week.
Pappy and I took the boys to the park to wear them out and Carter’s cute look back at me. So happy.
We pushed and walked and oohed and aaahed at their playing.

She had a few small presents and we’re still waiting for her to pick her vanity.
Can’t believe this girl is 17! Ahhhh! One more year!
We won the lottery with this girl, she’s so wonderful. It’s going to be an exciting year!
