halfway done with the halloween festivities. :)
since little miss didn't have her costume from china yet, she decided to be a witch to go trick or treating on the square. she decided on a witch with green skin and long blue eyelashes.
the only problem was that our makeup is cheap and our eyelash glue too.
the eyelashes would have looked really cool, but alas...
they didn't stay on at all.
so, we ditched 'em.
elsa, tink (no costume yet either), and the beast getting ready to go!
and we were off! i love trick or treating on the square, it's such a cute little small town event. i love it so much that i've flown solo with the girls several of the years we've gone.
this year was the opposite, i had lots of fun people come with me, most notable, my main squeeze.
happy tink!
also the aina's came for some l-town fun!
6 precious girls! and almost all smiling! it's a halloween miracle!
we met an author and illustrator selling their childrens book chesapeak fright on a halloween night, and since they are local artists, we decided to buy the book. the girls thought it was so cool that we met ladies who'd written a book! and they autographed it for them, so that was cool too. :)
we did some pinecone crafts.
after addie finished painting her pinecone, she retreated to the sunny sidewalk to read her comic book that larry's comic book shop had given out to trick or treaters.
such a precious little reader. :)
loooove her. :)
i wore normal clothes with an awesome rocker wig.
see?
it was a gorgeous day!
picture time!
on the way back to the car we came upon these two colorful doors so we stopped for a photo shoot! they pose so perfectly and naturally, don't they?
little truckers of america.
awwwww. :)
best friends! at least that's what i keep telling them.
by then lanes was d-to-the-one.
and we headed home to check out our loot with another fun trick or treating on the square under our belts. :)
