going through all of our life events that need blogging and the dream trip to the Dominican Republic this summer is front and center! just need to collect some pictures from the besties before i've forgotten all.
today was a perfect autumn day. it rained in the morning but then warmed up and the sun had come out by the time we hit the library at 10. this afternoon though, wow. stuff that autumn dreams are made of. i had more than half a mind to hightail it to mccombs, crawl into their hammock with a good book, and read, and nap, and enjoy the glory that is early november.

i will push myself to do a lot of things i don't want to do, but there are some things that i see no value in pushing myself to do.
like eating snails.
i've spent a lot of time at the computer lately, willing myself to stay on task and do my ar job (or google it, as i like to say). it's amazing how much time can be wasted when one clicks on "just one more catchy headline." the good news is that i am almost on track for the week.

this week i've been purposeful about being with the kids, not just being around the kids.
it's been a good week. :) someday i will expound on it. but for tonight, i'm back to googling it.
