in early october our playgroup went to the pumpkin patch. it's one of the fav playgroups of the year and we always get a picture of the kids on the steps. this year we had a few random children join in on the picture. interestingly, the mom of the stranger kids just stood there and let them in our pictures. not that i care, but if my kids were weaseling into another groups picture, i might remove them. call me crazy.
more of that awesome trucker pose i've been loving lately.
laney climbed up on the hay across from me, and next to amanda, and just sat there real still like this.
i had to coerce the girls into taking a picture with me.
wish we could get a nice, normal picture, just occasionally.
tickling the little bratty for holding her nose throughout all the pictures.
c-razy.
cute little witch!
jen asked laney if she'd like to sit on her jacket and delaney said "yes please!" she still sat across from me very still, but i'm sure she was more comfortable.
frankie begged to hold adeline. that baby is so sweet and patient!
because then laney had to have a turn. adeline just calmly puts up with it all!
then it was loralei's turn for some manhandling. :) we love us some babies!
and finally a smile!
from one at least.
laney started pouting for something. she leaned on this bench and turned a cold shoulder to me. she can pout with the best of them!
thankfully she got over it and went back to playing.
that's a southern maryland girl, right there!
she was actually very compliant with pictures towards the end of our stay at the patch!
"cheese!"
i love this goofy. :)
such a cute little farm.
i spy the top of a laney head!
it was a gorgeous day with perfect warm, not hot, weather.
frienemies for life, these two.
driving the train.
finally it was time to take the little witch to school, so we picked our pumpkins.
laney was out of sorts, again, so then she stopped posing for pictures.
she's walking towards me like the sassy lady she is.
furrowed brow, much?
"here."
drop, kick.
we got pouty in the car and frankie to school on time, and by the time we'd gotten home, delaney was over her bad self. she even agreed to some pictures with frankenstein.
and our cute mums.
and our cute harvest porch. :)
