January 1st-January 3rd
We woke up when we woke up. Not early since we partied all night. We got packed up and on our way at 10:30.

I love that Lu lives halfway between us. We stayed a night there and made it in time for games where this happened!! Wild.
Journal entry for January 2nd. “Adi, Emmett, and I went to Walmart for pancake supplies. $120 later, we had brekkie.” 🤣 I just remember how expensive diapers were and how fun it is to pick a little toy and I just love my crew. ❤️ Damian fried our bacon and sausage on his Blackstone - thank you, Sandy!
We went for a walk at Swan Lake Park that afternoon.
It’s a beautiful place with long walking trails. #jealous
Lu and I picked up pizza for dinner and had a little movie night. It was a quick little pop in we’re so glad we get to do every now and again.
We got up and out early the next morning to beat the traffic. Matt and I took turns driving and sleeping. I had leftover pizza for brekkie but these guys enjoyed Waffle House.
We got home nice and early! We walked, showered, watched Pitch Perfect, and were in bed by 8:30.
