Last year and this year we spend the week between Christmas and new years visiting the kids and it’s been really nice. That way everyone gets their Christmas with their little families and we get time together without missing school. And going somewhere warmer is nothing to complain about either.
Ruby is a tough customer when it comes to smiling but that just makes it all the more exciting when she does.
Bubba took us to the Army Aviation museum and Matt geeked out over everything. This is where Christian was pinned an a warrant officer and dad and I came for that, so that was a sweet memory.Dan Ray Tires!
We can’t get enough of this girl! She’s the best!
And Delaney is also a big Scoop fan. She loves that little doggo.
Ruby rubs her eyes when she can’t hang anymore.
Sleepy goose. Jeanne worked that day so we got to feed her bottles and lay her down and just generally cuddle her all day.
We got a million appetizers for dinner, and we actually ate through the vast majority of them. We had a few leftovers the next morning, but I was pretty impressed.
We watched the Stranger Things finale and played some of the new games we got them for Christmas.
We watched the ball drop, banged our pots and pans, threw our poppers, and of course finished our game of Skull King, and that was a wrap on the 2025 season. It was a wild one.
