Mean green machine

From most recent to least.

Our fancy dinner movie tonight was The Princess and the Frog. 4/5 of us enjoyed Tiana’s New Orleans Refreshers. I can’t quite figure out the glass situation  I’ve picked up some cool ones at the thrift store for .50-$1, but am I going for an eclectic feel? Trying to collect a set? Idk  🤷‍♀️

I accidentally printed the menus 2 sided, so I’ve been white tracking them onto the same cardatock. So it doesn’t look great but is easier for me.

I went the easy (biscuit dough) beignet route. Listen, I’ve made homemade beignet’s before and just didn’t had the time today.
Loved the cheddar jalapeño cornbread but it was the tiniest bit too spicy for my wimpy self and I got a lil heartburn.
Ditto the gumbo. And you know we all said “Daddy! I’m making guuum-bo!”
D said this one and beauty and the beast are tied and Adi still loved the shawarma. Frankie declined to vote I guess.
It was a day for loving on my family because I also surprised them with St. Patrick’s Day milkshakes. Who needs shamrock shakes when you can make your own for a fraction of the price.
Delaney told me about the milkshake and the gumbo “this is actually really good!” The surprise in her voice.🙄 Frankie stayed after school for conditioning so got hers later.
We had inklings this morning and the I ran errands for 3 hours. We got new fiber internet and Matt made it home around 3am. We are both very tired because we are both very old and it doesn’t take much to throw off our sleep schedule. I was actually so sleepy that I took a car nap while I waited for D at an appt. Because <4 hours of sleep is really half a night and I was so tired and needed to drive. I’m spirit of the law, baby, so my Lenten goal is still good.

Finally, Amber sent me this sweet picture and I just love my nursery friends so much. ❤️
